2010 Membership Cards
The 2010 memberships cards are being sent out in the mail. We are a bit behind so please be patient. As the applications are coming in we are processing them as quickly as possible. To assure that you can enter the club grounds the gate code will not be changed on January 15th. We will extend this period until more cards are sent.
NOTICE: Your membership card MUST be carried with you at all times when entering the gun club. Any Club official may require you to show your card. Failure to do so will result in you being asked to leave to club grounds until proof of membership can be confirmed.

Membership definitions:
1) General Membership, this is for persons under the age of 65 and older than 18. It includes ALL family members living under the same roof. You may choose to ad a spouse card, which is included. The cost for a General (family) Membership is $50.00 per year.

2) Senior Membership, this is for persons over the age of 65 and it includes ALL family members living under the same roof. The cost for a Senior (family) Membership is $40.00 per year. A General or Senior Membership can either consist of one member or a spouse and children under the age of 18. A membership year is from Jan 1st. through Dec 31st.

3) New Membership, this is not a renewal or if you have not been a paid member within the last 3 years. All new members must go through an on-site orientation. This orientation is given by a club official and is to go over the rules and regulations of the club and to familiarize you with safety and procedures. This is a requirement and will not be excused before any official membership card will be issued. When you fill out an New Member application, you will be notified by mail that you will need to make an appointment for the orientation.

4) Guest, Valid members can bring up to 2 guest one time. After their visit they must become a member to enter the club grounds.

Camp the night before any event. Then through the event and leave the night after the event.

Membership Application

Becoming a Siuslaw Rod and Gun Club member is virtually a painless effort. One, you will need to download and fill out a membership application. Two, you will need to schedule an orientation meeting with Cory, or call the gun club hot line at 541-902-7708. Once you have completed these two steps, pay your dues you will be handed or mailed your membership card. Membership cards are non-transferable and can ONLY be used by the person named on the front of the card. Any violations of this rule will be cause to expel the member and the non-member.

The cost of a membership is $50.00 for a General Membership and $40.00 for a Senior membership. The membership definitions are to the left. Please read them.

Q: What types of shooting ranges do we have?
A:
• one 30 yard outdoor pistol range
• one outdoor rifle range with targets at 25, 50, 100, 200 and 300 yards
• one action pistol range with 6 bays
• two trap ranges
• one sporting clays course
• one archery range, located at the east end of the action pistol range
Q: Are trap ranges open to the public?
A: Yes, every Wednesday evening starting at 6:00pm and ending at 9:30pm.
Q: is sporting clays open to the public?
A: Yes, every Sunday and registered shoots.
Q: Are other ranges open to the public?
A: No, only if you are a guest of a member.
Q: Do you offer hunter education or firearm safety classes?
A: Yes, both types of training are offered during the year. Please check the calendar for more information.
Q: Am I allowed to shoot Class 3 Guns (Fully Automatic Guns)?
A: No, our club does not allow any members to shoot automatic weapons on our ranges. Only Law Enforcement Agencies or the U.S. Coast Guard are allowed.
